Let’s have a look at the different options available in order to get from the airport to your hotel, thus making your arrival in the host city more easier and comfortable.

Whilst Al Italia, Vueling, LOT, Wizz Air, Fly Dubai and Belavia fly into Kyiv International Airport (IEV).

How to get from Boryspil  International Airport to the city?

Boryspil International Airport is the main airport in Ukraine, thus the busiest one in the country with many direct international flights. Boryspil has direct flights to Barcelona, London (LGW) (LHR), Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Athens, Amsterdam, Riga, Stockholm, Rome, Istanbul, Prague, Paris, Sofia, Almaty, Astana, Sharm El Sheikh, Vienna, Berlin, Helsinki, Tel Aviv, Minsk, Larnaca, Zurich, Milan, Geneva, Yerevan, New York, Dusseldorf, Baku, Tbilisi, Thessaloniki, Bucharest, Warsaw, Vilnius, Tallinn, Bangkok, Dubai, Chisinau, Ankara, etc.

Boryspil is the main base airport for the national Ukrainian airline- Ukrainian Airlines. Boryspil is quite a modern airport. You will find free wi-fi both in the arrivals and departure terminals of the airport. The airport is 18 km away from Kyiv’s city centre.

Pre-arranged Airport Transfer

I would recommend you to pre-arrange your transport from the airport to the city and book your transfer either through your travel agent or hotel. Boryspil airport is a 40-60 minutes drive from downtown Kyiv, take into account the drive can take longer during rush hours as there is bound to be more traffic. A pre-arranged airport-hotel transfer can cost you circa 500 UAH (18 Euros).

If you opt to take a taxi, then it is highly recommended to take an official taxi from the airport for a fixed price of circa 400 UAH (14 Euros). As soon as you come out at the Arrivals lounge you will find the Official Taxi Office. Please check the taxi fare to the city at the Official Taxi Counter in the airport, before taking a taxi.
