Ladies and gentlemen, Greece has decided! Demy will be represent Greece at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest with This is love.

The 2017 Greek national final was held today at ERT’s Studios in Athens where the Greek public and diaspora selected Demy’s song for Kyiv. A total of 3 songs battled for the golden ticket to Kyiv.

Demy will be flying to Kyiv with This isĀ  love.

The show was hosted by Antonis Loudaros and Elena Bouzala. The Greek Dream Team aka Dimitris Kontopoulos and Fokas Evangelinos also attended the show.

Demy’s Eurovision entry has been produced and composed by Dimitris Kontopoulos. Fokas Evangelinos will be responsible for Demy’s choreography and staging in Kyiv.

Greece will compete in the 1st Semi-final of the 2017 ESC on 9 May.

Greece debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 and has won the competition once in 2005 with Helena Paparizou.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
