While not singing or hosting, Måns Zelmerlöw is a co-founder of the Zelmerlöw & Björkman Foundation, along with the tennis player Jonas Björkman. Together, they help vulnerable children and young people in different countries, so they would discover and develop their talents. Måns and Jonas are currently on an eight day tour in Africa in order to put the foundation’s goals into practice.

The trip included Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania and divided to two parts – four days of work and four days of vacation. Måns and Jonas have met the Ethiopian Kenenisa Bekele, who holds the world record in 5km and 10km and helped bringing water to schools in Kenya as well as introducing them to beekeeping.

In contrast, the other part of the trip included mainly the African heaven of shores, water and sun. Måns is now back in Sweden and the full outcome from this trip is likely to be published soon.

It is possible to follow and support the Zelmerlöw & Björkman Foundation on Facebook as well as on Instagram.
