France: Amir to perform at the Euro2016 Opening Show

The 2016 French Eurovision representative will be performing at the Euro2016 Opening Show in Paris this week.

The 2016 Opening Show is scheduled to be held at the Champs-de-Mars in the majestic French capital on Thursday 9 June at 20:55 CET, and will be aired live on French channel TF1.

France’s 2016 Eurovision hopeful Amir will grace the stage along with a grand line up of French artists and singers: David Guetta, Kendji Girac, Louane Emera, Christophe Mae, Florent Pagny, Soprano and Slimane.

International celebrated artists will also partake in the event: Madcon, Zara Larsson, Julian Perretta and Will.I.Am.

France will host the 2016 European Football Championship this year which kicks off on Friday 10 June.

Amir represented France at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with his entry J’ai Cherché , achieving an honorable 6th place in the Grand Final. His song has become a massive hit in France, charting at #1 on the radio.
