Denmark: Interactive show with Lighthouse X

A week from today, the 2016 Danish representatives at the Eurovision Song Contest, Lighthouse X, will appear in a special show set to be streamed online completely live!

Taking place next Monday evening, the Danish pop-trio will perform in an intimate concert in which they will perform a list of their most popular songs to date along with their bidding Eurovision entry, Soldiers of love.

But the concert has a special twist as fans will be able to view the concert live from the comfort of their homes via an online stream, all of which will be completely free! As well as watching the concert, fans will be given the opportunity to interact with the band during a question and answer session throughout the show.

Speaking of next week’s interactive show, Lighthouse X band member Søren Bregendal explains:

We are really looking forward to trying out this format, as it is both very intimate and far-reaching all at once.

It will be an exciting and challenging contrast to the big Eurovision performance, which we are also busy preparing for. It will be a back to basics performance, and I think that’s healthy for us. And regardless of the format, our mission always stays the same – to make a positive change through music, because we have an honest belief that music can unite people in a way that no other ways of communication can.

The show will take place on the 25 April from 20:00 CEST and will be available to view via callme.dk. The concert is free to view, however registration is required. More information can be found via the website.

Lighthouse X was selected to represent Denmark at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest back in February following their victory in the country’s national final, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.

With their entry Soldiers of love, the trio will compete in the second semi-final on the 12 May where they will perform in 14th position in the running order.

Denmark’s song is from my least liked songs in this year’s Eurovision.
I seriously dunno if these boys will manage to qualify to the Final alone.

Its pity because they are good looking hotties though..

DENMARK in 2013 had the * X * factor to win the EuroVision
but this year is totally different story for this country.

After 2 consecutive victories in Sweden in 2000 & in 2013
this year will be the end of the lucky strike for Denmark.
So I absolutely don’t think that we will see Denmark winning again for a 4th time.
”Only Teardrops” was amazing song & light years better
than their bland entry of this year.

    By the way,
Emmelie De Forest had also recorded a song with almost the same identical title
in her debut cd album back in 2013 before her Victory in Malmo <3
Her own **Soldier Of Love** was of course #better song than this one.
