In the UK public will have the complete say in which act will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden.

This is the first the the United Kingdom has had a national final since Josh Dubovie won Your country needs you back in 2010.

Since then, the BBC has selected their artists through internal selection with varying degrees of success.

Last year, Electro Velvet were internally selected to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

As a member of the Big Five, they pre-qualified to the grand final. In the final, their entry Still in love with you finished 24th with five points.
