About Leonora

Apart from being a successful singer in her country, Leonora has triumphed three times in the Danish figure skating championship and has also taken part in the Nordic and the Junior World Championship. Leonora has been into music since a little kid, but she started training her voice and playing the guitar aged 15.

Leonora has composed numerous songs on her own and has performed in various locations, such as cafés, libraries and small school concerts. She won this year’s Melodi Grand Prix in Denmark after earning a 42% of both the public and jury vote in the show’s superfinal.

About the song Love is forever

Love is forever is the first multilingual Eurovision entry from Denmark, as well as the most multilingual entry of this year’s contest. The song is mostly in English and French, but it also contains some lyrics in Danish and one line in German. The use of 4 different languages reportedly aims at showcasing love’s importance. Love is something for everyone and forever regardless of ethnicity and religion.
