Contest Year: 2020

The Eurovision Song Contest 2020 is going to be the 65th edition of the contest and is set to take place on 12, 14 and 16 May 2020 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The country earned the right to host the event after Duncan Laurence’s victory last May in Tel Aviv, with his song Arcade. This was the 5th time for The Netherlands to win the Eurovision trophy.

41 countries have confirmed their intentions to participate in the contest. Bulgaria and Ukraine will be returning after their 2019 absence, while Hungary and Montenegro have both confirmed their withdrawals.
