Russia's Black Sea resort of Sochi is one of 3 cities shortlisted for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. To increase the profile of the bid some of Russia's most popular musical artists, including a number of former Eurovision participants, have recorded a charity single.

Dima Bilan, who finished second this year with Never let you go shares lead vocals with former Eurovision entrants Philip Kirkorov (Kolibelnaya dlya vulkana, 1995, 17th), Julia Savicheva (Believe me, 2004, 11th), and many other Russian popular music stars.
