Macedonian broadcaster MKRTV will select its 2006 entry to the Eurovision Song Contest during a national selection with 20 songs. Songs can be submitted until 15th January. The final, Specialen Evroviziski Den, will take place late February or early March.

A professional jury will select 20 songs to take part in the show that will be transmitted live from the MKRTV studios. The winner will be decided by televoting only.

Amongst the names tipped to participate in the 2006 national final are Adrijan Gadza, Lambe Alabakovski, Karolina Gocheva, Andrijana Janevska, Tamara Todevska, Marijan Stojanovski and Kalipoli.
