Most Eurofans still remember Sa�a Lendero from her 2006 participation in the Slovenian preselection when she won the televote but scored nil points with the jury for Mandoline losing thus to An�ej De�an. Sa�a is returning to EMA but in an entire different role this time, that of the manager of no less than three artists.

Saša Lendero has been enjoying great fame in her homeland, Slovenia. Her latest album, has been topping the charts for a year now and has produced mega hits in Slovenia. Ne grem na kolena , a cover of Anna Vissi's Kanenas moro mou, by Nikos Karvelas, as well as Levinja (the lioness) have been extremely popular in the country.

Saša spoke to Miran Cvetko of OGAE Slovenija and esctoday.com and she told us about her latest single, Levinja, the video clip of which was released in 2007. "Levinja, talks about fighting in one's life, especially fighting for the one you love. The lioness (Levinja) will do everything in her power to be with the man she loves and prove her love." Saša said. The song was penned by Andrej Babić (composer of Mandoline and Cvet z juga- the 2007 Slovenian Eurovision entry). The video clip for the song was shot in Morroco and Saša will be competing with it in the Croatian Radio Festival, performing it in Croatian. Saša Lendero also told us that she did not even try for this year's EMA as her top priority is to release a new cd in 2008, something she admits is quite a challenging project. But she assured us she would love to return once more in the future.

Saša has also founded her own agency for Slovene singers and she now represents some very popular artists in Slovenia such as Manca Špik and Sanja Grohar (ex Miss Slovenia). Three of the artists managed by Lendero & Co, Manca Spik, Iris and the group 4play, have qualified in the EMA 2008 semi finals and Saša is very happy about it as the agency has put in a lot of effort to achieve that. They are all especially happy that Manca is one of the hot favourites after attempting twice in 2006 and 2007.
