i think that kevin borg have a great song
GOOD LUCK TO NATASHA AND CHARLENE, PAMELA AND FELLOW MASQUERADERS TRILOGY!!!! IT'S EITHER 1 SINGER, 2 SINGERS OR 3 SINGERS THIS YEAR TO ATHENS!!! BREAK A LEG GUYS AND MAY THE BEST SONG WIN
This year I bet that Kevin Borg will win. His voice is amazing and his song is vey beautiful. He's the winner this year
eleonor's tell me is the best so far.
If it was to have a good and talented newcomer there should have been CAROLINE STAPLEY... She is the most interesting prospect at the moment but unluckily she made it only to the Top 50. I hope that she will have a better year next year because she really has talent and I was shocked to hear that her song didn't pass for the finals! I would like to wish the extremely-talented turning 18-year-old beauty the best of luck in order for her to pass to next year's finals, and together with Philip Vella and Gerard James Borg she can achieve it. Thanks and keep up the good work Ms. CAROLINE STAPLEY!
Trilogy maghmula minn ROGER TIRAZONA, CLIFF ZAMMIT(Hotspot Winner), Eleonor Spiteri(Hotspot runner Up) !!!!!
Go Malta!!! I think a newcomer would win (The Song Amazing as it's Vella/Borg's turn to go {00,02,04,06})altough I wish that Eleanor Cassar would win.
Tistu tajduli Trilogy minn huma?
May the best song win!!!!

Last year the same song made it through the top 22 as it was the 23rd song but the team behind the song decided to keep it for this year and again the song wass the first replace, and it has been given to Christian Arding.
ESCMALTA.com has unofficially said that Pamela's song has been withdrawn and instead of it Stronger of NAtasha & Charlene made it through. They also said that since Natasha and Charlene have Echose of Gais, the song has been given to Christian Arding
Who are the two who are going to replace Olivia and Pamela? Any news?
You're wrong about the lyrics I think. Even though some lyrics may be nonsense they are still sounds which are part of a song. Sometimes it's not the meaning that matters but the sound that complements the song. For instance we all remember Lane Moje from Zeljko Joksimovic....Beautiful song! Yet when I heard it in English, it just doesn't sound right! It sound better in Serbian.
So in the end, the choice of words may be due to the need for particular sounds that complement the songs. Like For instance....Asereje....where the words don't mean a thing yet the sounds they chose were effective. In the end it's true that better lyrics require certain depth and meaning but I say...leave that for the poetic ballads.....
this is wot i mean...... and wot about number one? all songs u mentioned had thrashy lyrics.... it is the music which people listen to most....... lyrics are irrelevent at the esc...... sorry but thats the way its, even though i dont agree......
Whatever its lyrics it placed 2nd ! And i consider lyrics as not the most important thing in a song .. cuz europe will only listen to it once .. on the night! What were the lyrics of DIVA .. dana international? What about the lyrics of ruslana?? etc etc .. they still won!
sorry ta imma with all respect 7th wonder had stupid shitty and childish lyrics.... it is philip vella with his music who made 7th wonder such a hit plus the ability of ira. i dont like gerald borg 's lyrics always like a fairy land

It is now confirmed that one of the best songs ever that gerard wrote for the malta song for europe did not make it with the top 50. Therefore we will obviously have some HIGH Quality songs missing from the selection.
I start qeuestioning the ability of the judges who chose the best 50 songs!
PITY ! SHAME !
i heard that Pamela's song (turn another page) is most probably being withdrawn. i had once seen a tv programme where Pam, Fleur and Paul were guests and they had said that Pam signed a contract with them. maybe that's why it's being withdrawn, coz it's a kind of agreement or maybe they didn't find a suitable voice to fit into her song, coz pamela has quite a particular voice!. yes paul and fleur have a good chance this year, they always had good songs and especially these last few years. i just wish them all the luck, and all the luck to all singers, which at the end of the day all are doing their very best! i just hope that the best song wins!
I THINK THAT PAUL AND FLEUR WILL WIN WITH ELEONOR THIS TIME. i believe that tell me me is a WOW song. i believe in eloenor with that amazing strong voice.

looking forward to charlene and natasha.... echoes of gaia sounds so cool and hope iam right. we choose wisely , and if a ballad is the best song on the night , we make sure it is a power ballad. giordomaina/ balzan team stands a good chance this year. i dont feel olivia stands a good chance like last year cos i feel her song is much weaker than dejavu. good luck to all.
Thanks Cyrus, yes from January 2006 a weekly show 12points on Kottoner 98FM will present 4 or 5 participants of the MSFE 2006 each programme. We will interview them live about the event and obviously with their permission we will hear their songs. In partners with the Malta Song Board in the week of the MSFE we will air also all the songs in the running order, so stay tuned. Escmalta.com will let u know for sure. This radio is also streamed live on url=www.kottoner.com,]www.kottoner.com,/url] so everyone can hear the programme. I let u know also about the time when it is going to be aired because there can be certain changes.
I think that Olivia will make this year. Can J Anvil come up with a different song? how boring, last year it was You and now You Too, How Original!!!
I will support Olivia
no one can listen to the songs before maltasong or the songwriters of the songs say so! so i think it will be very hard to get the songs before the 4th february this year.
