Suzana Spasovska came 6th in the 1998 national final with Opomena. Kerber came 5th in the 2009 national final with Gengsta oro (as part of the group Sleng). Treta Dimenzija took part in the first semi final of 2009 with Isto sto i ti, coming 12th thus not qualifying to the final. Bravo Bend came 10th in the 2009 national final Devojko. Vlatko Ilievski came 13th in the 2008 national final with So drugi zborovi & 6th in 2009 with Najbogat na svet.
Aleksandar Belov came 3rd in the 2008- 2009 edition of the music talent TV reality show Operacija Trijumf, the same edition in which Vukašin Brajic, the representative of Bosnia & Herzegovina at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, came 2nd. Aleksandar already participated at least year's Skopje Fest, where he came equal 7th with the song Zastani solzi izbrisi.
Gjoko Taneski came 12th in the 2002 national final with the song Koga molcat ocite, a duet with Marija Georgieva. Igor Mitrovic came equal 14th in the 2008 national final with Jas i ti. Pampers came equal 13th in the second semi final of 2009 with Zboguvanje. Vodolija took part in the first semi final of 2009, coming 13th with Mojot TV.
Nade Talevska sang backing vocals for Tamara, Vrcak & Adrijan at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.
Moreover, she came 9th in the second semi final of 2009 with Dali mislis na nas. Dimitar Andonovski came 9th in the first semi final of 2009 with Me pronajde ti. Vlatko Lozanoski came 4th in the 2009 national final with Blisku do mene. Jova Radevska came equal 10th in the 2008 national final with Jas sum ovde.
Maja Vukicevic came 14th in the 1998 national final with Broj do deset & 19th in 2000 with Nemoj da si naiven. Kristijan Jovanov came equal 11th in the 2009 national final with Nema da zboram. Parketi came 6th in the 2008 national final with Strawberry.

I dont know whats happening with Macedonian esc entries.... Many of those singers have great hits here , and when ist time for esc choosing they have averge crappy songs

I must choose only 4 which are good. The first semifinal is lot weaker than second

Oooh, i like Esma's Band along with Jova and Igor (judging by what i've heard from the snippets)
Can't wait to hear the full versions before i make a proper decision.

I did mention that I really liked Esma's band too. I said if the full version is good too then I will want it to win.
I was never been enthousiastic from FYRO Macedonian songs exept 2004 and a little bit 2005 , i hope this year to send something good

The best snippets, in my opinion
1st semifinal:

There are really nice songs this year, definitely better than last year. I think that Macedonia may have some good place and reception from the public in Oslo if we send "Gypsy Dance" by Esma's Dance, but I'm not really sure that Macedonia will choose that, because there are a few famous stars like Vlatko Lozanovski, Vlatko Ilievski, Maja Vukicevic and co., but i won't be disappointed if "Sreka" by Ilievski goes to Oslo, because this and "Gypsy Dance" are my favorites!
So Macedonia let vote for GYPSY DANCE, and vote for the song, not for the singer

Why you don't like Dzipsi Dens, you usually like Gypsies!!
I agree with Marko. Vlatko Lozanoski is the most famous singer now and he will probably win. I think that his song is O.K. Why does the Macedonian public have to judge the songs only by who sings them?
Aleksandar Belov might also win this year but I don't know what his chances are. But I think that I will really like his song.
Jova Radeska is also good and I wish that she was more famous.
But I must say ESMA's BAND. I really hope this song goes. I hope that the jury gives it a lot of points because I don't think it will get a 12 or a 10 from the ignorant public that tends to vote in our selections.

Dzipsi Dens is definetly the song Macedonia needs for Oslo. I'm sure that if we chose this song, we'll enter the final of ESC 2010. Other beautiful songs are the one of Vlatko Lozanovski, Parketi, Jova Radeska, Gjoko Taneski and Pumpersi, but my favorite is Esmas Band!!! GO DZIPSI DENS!!! ESMAS BAND TO OSLOOOOOO!!!

In semi 1 i liked song numbers:
5, 9, 13, and 14
In semi 2 i liked song numbers:
11 and 13
I thought number 4 in this semi sounded like some kid mucking about with a microphone Is this person very young?
But overall i think Macedonia has presented some good songs so hope you pick the one which best represents you as a country
by the way you (esctoday) should make a pool like you did last year for we to vote which song we like the most from the semi finals
I' m surprised of the songs, there are some very good songs, but many aren't.it is really weird i' m nade talevska's fan but i don't like this song very much but you do, so i m happy about that, however her song is not to be sent in oslo. I didnt like jova's song i know that many will react about this but it is my opinion and i really think that her song is bad. Aleksandar's song ostani is nice one but not the best, vlatko lozanovski has very good song too and he is probably going to win (not that i like this), very, very good song has daniel with the song akcija reakcija i liked it, it is a nice song, and the song that i liked the most is dzipsi dens from esma's band the song is awsome and i really want to send them in oslo but many people won't vote for her because she is gypsi. And by the way macedonia has only once send rock pop song the others were or balads or mid tempo songs and it has never sent an etno song if you dont agree with this please tell me which song that we have sent have been an etno or rock song accept najmilo nesto sto ke ostane from next time (rock/pop song). I really like esmas band to win because the song is great and it would take very good place in oslo.
It's very difficult to reach a conclusion after hearing so many snippets. I remember 3, two that I liked (Aleksandar Belov - Ostani and Jova Radevska - Se Ushte Cekame) and one that reminded me one of the Portuguese songs (Esma's Band - Dzipsi Dens). It's obvious which song I am referring to. Good luck Macedonia!

It might seem to be old-fashioned, ripped from Vukovi umiru sami, but I really like it ! I hope he could provide a great performance !

Vlatko would not be a bad choice. He has a great song too.
Ooooh it starts so good right away. Macedonia always have something great. In semi 1 there is only one song I dislike - the salsa band. I particularly like Vlatko Ilievski, Kerber, Nataša, Aleksandar & Gjoko.
In semi 2 I really like Nade, Teodora, Bojan, Dimitar (he was great last year too), Parketi & Esma's band... I am hoping the full version of Esma's band's song will make me want it to win, lol.
If we were to judge favourite NF based on my average score then Macedonia would win! There was only one bad song of them all!

Thanks for the clips. I think that I have found a singer I love today.
Once again I hardly like any songs in the Macedonian NF, I wish they'd have better songs, instead of all this pop/rock crap they insist having in... My clear favourite is Jova, it's unusual from Macedonia, well at least in ESC So I think it'll be a very positive change, I also like Vlatko Lozanoski, Viktorija Apostolova and Angela Zdravkova. That's about it, nothing to get excited about, I might begin to really like Jova though, if it's good fully and live too
