Bulgaria: Krassimir crosses from song to mime and back
Krassimir graduated from the National Academy of Movies and Theater in Sofia, the venue where, a month ago, he performed, for the first time to a Bulgarian audience, his highly acclaimed pantomime show Memories. In Memories, the audience is moved from tears to laughter as the protagonist relives the memories of an aging mime with his breathtaking performance combining both comic and tragic moments. The show, which has already been performed in Hollywood with great success, received enthusiastic reviews by the critics in Bulgaria.
One surprise highlight of the show is at the end where Krassimir crosses from the silent world of mime to song. The singer's great range and high octaves brought the house down and the audience gave him a standing ovation at the end.
Krassimir did this show in the United States and has performed it often in Hollywood with huge success. Besides being the star pantomime of the show, he is the director and composer of the music. Bulgarian critics compared Krassimir to the great mime Marcel Marceau for his performance. Keva Apostolova, chief editor of the Bulgarian Journal Theater, made a personal comment about Krassimir's "mesmerising" performance.
At present, Krassimir is completing his music video for his hit song Ria. Regarding his future plans Krassimir revealed that he is working on a huge project that will combine his passion for pantomime and music along with dance and theater!

I really liked the song but the live performance was just plain awful... and those women ????? Grrrrrrrrrrr.... not to mention the outfits.....
I liked his song alot but live it didnt work.....!!!
good luck to his career. i loved his entry !
I actually loved the song and the staging but those female vixens ruined it for me
he was ok for me , not too good but also not scary as others told
ohhh greattt he should stay as a mime... his voice at eurovision made my ears bleed, and you don't know how many prozac, tafil, codeine and vodka i needed to feel well
I'm very hopeful from bulgaria this year
I really liked "Illusion" but Krassimir's vocals were not good at all on the night
"...decided to take a trip to the silent world of pantomime."
Such a nice idea! I hope he will stay in that world permanently.
I don't miss his squealing
I love mimes!
When I heard Him sing,I was completly speechless throughout any of his performances. So I suppose I turned to mime for a while! Hehehe!
Aww, Milan S. stole my comment.
I think he should stick to mime.
Good luck to Bulgaria
Mostly I like Bulgarian entries
That was horrible, if we compare it to Water, Let My Cry or Lorreine.
I hope for good song from Bulgaria in 2010!
I'll definetely not miss him!Bulgaria will be good in 2010!
I preferred his interviews to his performance last year. Krassimir seems to be a very nice guy. Good luck!
Last year's Bulgarian costumers were hilarious...
Completely horrible performance at Eurovision. I'm amazed it got any points at all, but then, they were from neighbours
Probably the worst ESC entry ever along with Turkey 1983
The first performance and song I've ever laughed at ESC
This is what you call a joke entry
" Krassimir Avramov, the Bulgarian representative in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, decided to take a trip to the silent world of pantomime"
Well maybe there is a god!
Jks ofc, but I did find his performance kinda bad, what with the costumes, the stilts, and the occasionally off key shrieking it wasn't the best thing to ever happen to Eurovision. Good luck to him anyway!
