What Patricia Kaas will do now
Yesterday’s edition of daily France Soir published an interview with the lady. Among other questions, journalist Nicolas Palita asks: What have you learned from your Eurovision participation? “I never had as much media coverage in all my career", Patricia answers. "Of course, there were some malicious remarks and unpleasant things to read. Of course, during the voting, I was disappointed, this is natural but life goes on. If it has to be done again, I would do it, with the same song as it is pure 'chanson Française' ”.
Regarding future projects, Patricia declares that she will very soon think about another tour. She also received proposals for theatre plays and movies. “Soon in Broadway?”, French magazine L’Express’ blog asks. Gilles Médioni reports on a possible role in Broadway or West-End, but more as a rumour. The same journalist reminds Kaas’ Eurovision experience and mentions her recent awards at a eurofans’ poll... esctoday.com of course. You can learn about it here .
In spite of a busy career, Patricia tells France Soir that she wants to have more time for her private life. “I turned 43 in December and I have to organize my life differently. I must give more place to the man who’s in my heart and in my mind”. Still, Patricia declares that she’s no more in love with the famous head-cook Yannick Alléno. “There’s nobody in my life presently”. “Wouldn’t you like to start a family?”. “Having a child is in my mind. It has to be done in the years to come. If I can’t, I will surely regret it as I come from a large family”.
Patricia Kaas represented France at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, in Moscow, ending up 8th with the song S'il fallait le faire.

She was the best by far!
She is one of the best female singers I have seen performing live.... I simply love her and to the question, what's next ? Probably, another excuisite cd and lots of new live performances all over Europe. Together with Estonia, France is my winner for the 2009 contest.....
her song was boring but no doubt that she's a good singer.
Why doesn't esctoday.com inform that Christophe Willem is more than likely to represent France in Oslo ? He has officially postponed a concert scheduled on May, 29th and announced that he's preparing "a surprise" during the spring. Last year at the same time the same rumours could be heard about Patricia and they proved to be true.
She is a great singer and her song are always something special
Patricias Kaas performance was one of the best in many years. Alexander Rybak deserved the victory, but also Patricia.
Patricia is a good singer but I'm afraid I wasn't very keen on "S'il fallait le faire". My fellow countrymen seem to share this opinion with me since we didn't give any points to France.
Good luck to her!
congrats for the gold album. she's a big star and a true artist. she brought class to the contest and people took seriously eurovision when they heard her participation.i love her songs and et s'il fallait le faire had beautiful lyrics
this title is giving me bad ideas about Patricia
just like she's in a trouble or she's desperate
She'll do her thing 'good music'!!
Isn't that a stunningly beautiful photograph of Patricia?
And yes, she was simply perfect that night in May 2009!
Loved every last bit of her. I hope she will come back and represent France again someday! Thanks for an enchanting French entry, Madame Kaas.
she was in bulgaria in june 2009..her concert was amazing
I like "Et S'il Fallait Le Faire" very much.
Long live the Queen !!
She is just simply incredible !!
I loved her song from the first moment I heard it. I didn't even know there was a surname Kaas out there before 2009, and this is the reason why I still have faith in this contest, for showing me fantastic real artists such as Kaas !!
One of the greatest performances and artists of all time !!
Good luck to her! She was a jewell of last year's Eurovision. Quality singer, such a great performer with awesome music!
Well good luck to her, she is definitely a good performer, but i'm still not a fan of Et s'il fallait le faire, but meh!
I think the problem was, was that the song couldn't connect to most people, particularly young people, who make up a very big percentage of the contest viewers.
That was amazing time to see her on eurovision stage.
she is a good singer but song was nothing special for me
that's excatly what I think!!!
I'm so glad she chose that song and not one that was more "suitable for eurovision" (as if that exists...)
She dared to be different and chose for a quality entry. And her comments on Eurovision are very professional if you compare it to the way some singers react after they had a disappointing result.
I like her attitude towards future participation.....
I think she might have got a better result had she performed later in the show, but the song was never going to win.
God bless Patricia, we need singers like her
Patricia was great last year !! Her song is so beautiful, I leved it very much !! She deserves to be placed in top 3 !! Good Luck Patricia !!
she is a good singer but song was nothing special for me anyway good luck to her though she doesn't need it
