@ Sara
In the end I think good fact is that he doesn't have any duo with Svetlana Loboda on his first album!! I personaly thought there will be one! :@ :D :D :D

Cindy:
Well, I live in Norway thats why I bought it here and not in Germany or Netherlands a.s.o, hehe. (I didn't know they were excluding the bonus tracks from the buyers in his own country...thats just stupid)...but I love all the other songs :P ;)

Lily Bel:
The up-tempo songs is great (not boring in my ears..but I may be a bit biased, hehe, but so are you, since you don't like him), hehe. I also love dolphins and the song...it's a really good song. The album is a mix between Norwegian optimism and Russian melancoly (he said), so of course some of the songs are slow (if thats why you think they are boring?) ;)

@ Sara
The most of them are extremly boring, but I can listen maybe "Dolphin" because I (L) Dolphins, and of course song from the secret garden, because that is always nice to listen! :)

Sara!

It's only on the norwegain cd 500 miles is missed. If you bay this cd in Germany or other countries you will find this song as a bonus song. I bought it in Germany.

Cindy:
Thanks :) I really liked his version of 500 miles...thats why I was a bit disappointed it wasn't on the CD (which I thought it would after listening to the preview)

Marko:
I understood what you meant..hehe :) It's so funny how you aren't still over Aleksander (it's like you miss him) LOL!

Btw. If you (or those who) say Aleksander can't sing (doesn't have a good voice/only screaming a.s.o) after listening to this song from his new album...you are lying :P...or at least you need a check-up at the ear-doctor ;)

@ Sara
No, I don't wanna Rybak for any country not only for Norway! :D :D

Lily Bel:
Marko, my dear....nothing to be afraid of...and if that happens it will be great for us (since he won us a "title" ;) ;) You only say it because you are afraid he will win again, hehe :D :P

I'm afarid that Rybak will be in ESC again soon! Like Elisabeth Andreassen in 1994 and 1996 :S, maybe he wil be in some duo like she in 1994!!!

Alexander is going to have about 30 concerts/appearances in Norway this summer (+some abroad)...so he is pretty busy. Also have in mind that he must be exhausted and tired by now....its been a lot for him the last 4 months. Maybe his manager also realized that TVE probably isn't the most reliable "place" to visit and promote himself right now either (just a wild guess... or my own thoughts) ;)

BTW. Look at this video. A funny version of "Fairytale" by Hayseed dixies (American parody band):
Hayseed Dixie is known worldwide for creating catchy cover versions of AC / DC, Scissor Sisters, Green Day, Outcast, and many other super stars. At the request they threw themselves around to give Alexander Rybaks "Fairytale" its own distinctive character.
The melody of "Fairytale" was given a faster rhythm, and the text had a drastic face-lifting to get the song to act on something more people can relate to.

- Everyone has written a song about losing a girl. Losing a beer, however, that is really a tragedy, "says singer John Wheeler jokefully.

Rybak pays tribute to the world famous parody band Hayseed Dixie's.
The U.S. band took the challenge on "standing foot" and performed the song "Fairytale" at the Opera roof in Oslo. They gave the song new lyrics and their own "bluegrass- tag". When Alexander Rybak was presented the result he was so impressed that he had difficulty finding words.

- The boys set the list so high for all those who will try to joke with my song now. No one will do it better "said Alexander with a roar of laughter.

@ Dave C.

TVE is a mess, we know, but this time it's your beloved Alexander who has cancelled the meeting because his manager is unable to carry his busy agenda properly. Maybe because it was so empty before ESC and it was easier...

They've cancelled the meeting! ROFL This is totally unbelievable. TVE is probably the worst television in Europe. And now they will go back to flamenco or something for next year ROFL These people never learn the lesson

Which chapter in this site can i watch the meeting? Now It's 17.00 CET

Have anyone else bought Alexanders debut album "Fairytales" yet? I have, and it is really good :)..The only thing I was dissappointed about was that "I would walk 500 miles" wasn't a bonus track on the CD I bought (which I thought it would after listening to the track clips).... :(

Oh yes, good luck to Alexander in TVE...!
Needless to say that after his trip to TVE, Alexander will be jinxed for the rest of his life and his career destroyed.
That's what I call the TVE-EFFECT.
Worse than budu!
Worse than witchcraft!
Beware, Alexander, of the TVE-EFFECT!!!!

Rybak and Fairytale is the most played video on YouTube in May with over 6 million views! All his videos on YouTube have 23 million views.
Now this is great . His new Album is out now and many of the songs are much better than Fairytale.

@Ki.var
Then why do you read articles about him? And especially, why do you take time to comment on them? Obviously you have interest enough to bother...

Next time, choose a great artist and a decent song like Mirela and you will get some compensation for it in the scorebord. But Spain is famous for failing to choose the right song every year. I still remember Thinking by Anael last year. Such a waste!

I have not interest at all in this boy.
It would have been better to interview Federico Llano, head of the spanish delegation.

I must say Spektrum is very intimate and cosy...hehe..perhaps a better choice than Telenor (only downfall is the limited amount of audience....) *sigh* :S
