Jonny:
I was wrong. A friend of mine told me that BBC Prime has been showing "My family".
I hope BBC will come up with something good next year
Stockholm
Yes that would be great!!! Watching Melodifestivalen makes "eurovision:your descision" look so naff!! Hopefully the BBC will see that, have common sense and give us a Melodifestival!!
Jonny:
lol.
Or maybe you will have your own Melodifestival next year
Remember the people who visited us last May.
Jonny:
Pity. Penelope Keith is hilarious.
I know which comedy you mean but I don't think it's being shown on BBC Prime. If it's a new series it's more likely that SVT will show it. I will look out for it
Stockholm
I'll try and watch some of "to the manor born" also
It seems that SVT & the BBC do alot of co-operation in terms of programming, hopefully one day we'll see Melodifestivalen in the UK!
Oh, i've heard of that series but i've never seen it!
One of the best comedy's on the BBC at the moment is "my family"
Its about a normal but really unconventional family living a normal life in the UK, and its hilarious!!
Have they ever shown it on BBC prime?!
Jonny:
I think "To the Manor born" with Penelope Keith is another great series. It's from the early 80s but BBC Prime is still showing it
Stockholm
Oh I see!! Well the Vicar of Dibley is one of my favourite programmes to be ever shown on the BBC!
Jonny:
Yes, SVT as well as BBC Prime are showing The vicar of Dibley and also other programmes with French & Saunders
Marc X
Yes!! It was great she had a happy ending but I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oo depressed there wouldn't be anymore episodes!! Damn you BBC!!
Stockholm
Yes, can you watch it in Sweden then!?
"The vicar of Dibley" is my favourite
Johnny,
Yep the Viccar is absolutely great... especially the last special when she falls in love and get married....
Vincent,
Yes, a live event is always more special than a recorded one!
Johny,
in my notebook onlinestreaming has neber run smoothly..and i woulf like to wath the EDC live, that is also part of the charm of the eurovision contests
marc: do you like Eurovision?? If the answer is YES, there's lots of former ESC participants launching CD's, performing live, etc, etc. All of that should be reported in a ESC related site. Esctoday, as the biggest ESC site (I think still is) must do that kind of articles. To keep the show alive all the year
marc x: WOW you have a big french and saunders collection!!! Well I can totally understand that, they are pretty awesome!!
Actually my favourite ever comedy has Dawn French in it! The programme is "the vicar of dibley".
Unfortunately they don't produce it anymore
Vincent
Oh thats a shame
Well I watched both the semi finals this year on the internet and they ran quite smoothly. They were a bit fuzzy but it was quite good
Or they might put it on the website aftwerwards, like they have with the final and semis this year, you can still watch them on the internet
Johny, tahnx for the info..at 6th i will still be in Berlin, and as far as i know German TV will not broadcas the show..the thing with these online streaming is that they do not rum always very smoothly..i see what i can do..
Sorry Vincent, but it will be broadcast on the 6th of September. It will probably be broadcast over the internet though
Or maybe ERT will repeat it at a later date?
marc,
somehow i am not a fan of the JESC either. i do not like the idea of watching little kids behaving like stars(as you rightly said) that much. As for the EDC.i missed the 1st show last year, i forgot all about it actually after the ESC 2007, but this year i am going to watch it and vote for it..does somebody know the exact day of transmission? i hope it is after the 10th of September, because from this time on i will be in Athens. In Germany they will not broadcast the show
Danny T:
That video was so funny
From now on I will see Dawn's face whenever I listen to The Corrs.
marc x:
You have an impressive collection of French & Saunders !
DannyT
That French & Saunders video is hilarious!!!!!
I love French & Saunders, they're soooooooooooooo hilarious!!!
Paolo,
Sorry my friend but EDC and JESC really do not interest me, so I'm not bothered. I have never seen EDC and don't think I will this year, JESC I saw once, never again. I hate it when they show those little girls and boys pretending to be big stars. And of what I heard, is that festival just as bad as the ESC, neighbourvoting, diaspora etc... thanks but no thanks. Mina, tonight Greek private party here in London with lots of Ouzo and little tasty things to eat.... and hopefully lots of Anna....
marc x and vincent: lots of things are happening, with EDC, JESC and former ESC participants.
