Second semi tonight

JESC: Armenia selects first finalists

Ten acts were chosen last night during the first Armenian semi final for the forthcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The second semi will be held tomorrow, and the country's representative will finally be selected on 11th July.

The hosts of the evening last night at the ARMTV studios were Felix and Emmy, the popular Armenian singer. Arevik, last year's representatives, were present to perform Yerevan Blue Sky. Eighteen acts participated and the seven-member jury comprising popular singers, actors and musicians selected 10 of them to proceed to the final:

Serina-How?
Ania nd Alisa- Barev (Hello)
Larissa-Crazy Girl
Masha-Childhood days
Diana- Rock'n'Roll
David- Me and Me
Emma-My Song
Arsen-You're My Life
Do-Re-Mi band- Chocolate
Artashes-Captain of fairy tales

The second semi final will be held tonight at the ARMTV studios as well and the final will follow on 11th July. Although the expert jury will also select the rest of the finalists, the final verdict lies with the Armenian public who will be selecting their representative in the final through sms voting.

Well, if they can pick a half-decent song for Limassol, they'll win.

And if they pick the worst song in the History of the Earth, they'll still be in the top 10.

Even if they'd slaughter someone on stage, they would win.
