As Esctoday.com informed earlier last week BTRC, the Belarussian national broadcaster held a special press conference today at the BTRC headquarters in Minsk to present the 2013 Belarussian Eurovision national selection project. The selection will consist of 3 stages: a qualifying round, semifinals scheduled to be held in November, and the grand final scheduled to be held in December.

Ms Olga Schlager will be the head of the 2013 Belarussian national selection project. The 2 semifinals and grand final will be televised live on Belarus 1 tv channel

Artists, singers, composers and authors can send in their applications to BTRC by mail to: BTRC, 220807 Minsk, ul Makaenka 9. The deadline for submission is on the 22nd of October. Hence a special panel of jury members will select evaluate all applications and will announce the names of the 15 finalists by the 31st of October. The 2 semi finals will be held in November, whilst the grand final will be held in December. The exact dates will be confirmed shortly. The winner of the 2013 Belarussian Eurovision national final will be determined by a jury/ televoting deliberation.
