Irish national final in February!

RTE, Radio Telefis Eireann, the Irish national broadcaster has informed Esctoday.com that the 2013 Irish  Eurovision national final will be held at the end of February 2013. The show will be once again aired on the Late Late Show on RTE.

Last month the Irish broadcaster confirmed to Esctoday.com that Ireland will compete at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest next May in Sweden. RTE is yet to reveal the method and mechanism it will use to select both its 2013 Eurovision entry and representative.

Ireland holds the record of winning the Eurovision Song Contest 7 times ( 1970,1980, 1987,1992,1993,1994 and 1996). The Emerald Isle also holds the record of  winning and hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 3 years in a row!
