Inna wins Eurodanceweb Award 2010 for Romania

Inna, one of the most popular Romanian singers, has won the Eurodanceweb Award 2010 with the song Sun is up, thus bringing home the trophy for the first time in its 10 years of history. 40 songs competed, representing countries from all over Europe and the Mediterranean area. Egypt took part for the first time.

Runner-up to Romania was Sweden, represented by Velvet and My destiny. Third place flew to Israel, achieving their best result to date with Roni Meller feat. Dee Dee and the song The day after (Will I be free).

Among the 40 participants, we can find a number of former Eurovision and national finalparticipants. Representing Greece, Sakis Rouvas and Tamta came 25th with Tharos i alithia. From Bulgaria, KariZma (NF 2007), landed on 14th place with On my way. Claudia Faniello, who has tried to represent Malta from 2006 onwards, finished equal 20th with I hate this song. Representing Estonia, Violina feat. Rolf Junior came 32nd with the song they performed at the 2010 Eesti Laul, Maagiline Päev. Finally, Haffi Haff, who participated in the 2008 Icelandic selection, in duet with Íris Hólm (NF 2010),finished on the 37th place with the song Control.

Different music styles featured in the lineup: from hands up, to folk, from italo-dance to house music, mixed with south American or Arabic influences.
