It has been 40 minutes after the last semifinal of the Swedish Melodifestivalen was completed and the duels for next week’s Andra chansen (Second chance round) are now known.

From every semifinal, the songs placed 3rd and 4th have qualified to this round, where they will participate in duels. The winner of each duel will qualify directly to the final, making the total number of finalists to 12.

We can see that the eight songs were divided to duels by “themes” – male soloists, “mature” songs, girly artists and male duels (in brackets – the original semifinal the song has qualified from):
