Hungary: Results of A Dal 2015 semi-final 1

Europe has heard all the songs in the Hungarian pre-selection as the last of the heats took place last week. Tonight the first of the two semi-finals took place where we saw four acts advance to the grand final on the 28 February and take a step closer to winning the golden ticket to Vienna in the hope of representing Hungary at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

Results

During the two rounds of voting we saw the jury and the televote scores put three through to the final and then the second round of voting saw one more act advance to the grand final on the 28 February taking the total to 4 lucky contestants fighting it out at the end of the month for the honour of representing Hungary at Eurovision 2015 in Vienna. Please see below for the results.

  • Ádám Szabó – Give me your love (47 points, jury and SMS qualifier)
  • Boglárka ‘Boggie’ Csemer – Wars for nothing (47 points, jury and SMS qualifier)
  • Zoltán Mujahid – Beside you (43 points, jury and SMS qualifier)
  • Spoon – Keep marching on (41 points, SMS qualifier)

Therefore, Karmapolis, New Level Empire, Pankastic!, Timi Antal and Vera Tóth were eliminated from the competition after receiving the least amount of vote.

Agenda

Next Saturday will see 9 more acts in the second semi-final where they will be whittled down to another 4.The grand final scheduled for the 28 February  will see the final 8 contestants battle it out to win A Dal and represent Hungary at Eurovision this May.
