Cyprus may have announced that they intend to have a huge glass pool filled with water on the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest stage but it seems the Netherlands beat them to it. The 2007 JESC theme is “Water” and AVRO will be bringing a whole lot of it on stage.
The 625 square meter stage of the Ahoy' Arena in Rotterdam will contain 50.000 litres of water as it was announced today. The action on stage will be covered by 15 cameras and the show will be directed by award winning director Eduard Huis In 't Veld. 140 journalists have already applied for accreditation to cover the event.
