Lions

Born into a musical family, Lana started singing at the young age of 4. She went on to study her craft in master classes in Russia, Armenia, and the USA. She has also competed in many singing competitions both in her native Latvia and in Armenia, Russia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Germany. In 2004, she competed in Russia’s well-known New Wave contest, and claimed third place in Georgia’s Golden Talent competition in 2011.

Lana is also a respected recording artist, having released her debut EP though Italian label, Primula. She also released an EP in April 2010 with the Glasgow-based rock band, Carmine. When not performing, Lana works as a vocal coach at Scotland’s Performace Academy, and teaches at Riga’s European Centre of Children’s music.

Lana will compete at the Latvian national selection Supernova 2015 with the song Lions.
