Supernova, the Latvian national selection for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest will begin on Sunday 1st February. In this special article we are going to be introducing all of the 20 competing acts.

Mntha

Nefelibata

She was still a small child when Mntha realised her future would be in music. Standing in a meadow on a warm summer’s day, all the young Mntha wanted to do was sing. Since then, Mntha has studied at various music schools and colleges where she learned to play the guitar and the piano, and has been part of many choirs.

Outside of music, her interests are drawing, painting, cycling, watching films and reading. Mntha says she decided to participate in this year’s Supernova competition because of the fantastic opportunity it affords artists to grow and to learn and to showcase their music to a wider audience. She believes the most important thing an artist can be is his or her self.

Mntha will compete at the Latvian national selection Supernova 2015 with the song Nefelibata.
