The fifth audition show of the 2015 Cypriot national selection, The Eurovision Song Project, will take place this evening in the city of Nicosia. The show will kick off at 20:05 CET and will be broadcast by CyBC.

About the show

The 2015 Cypriot national selection continues this evening with the fifth audition show of The Eurovision Song Project.

Hosted by Antri Kerantoni, an unspecified amount of artists will audition in front of the four-member jury – Alex Panayi (Cyprus 1995 & 2000), Elena Patroklou (Cyprus 1991), Despina Olympiou (Cyprus 2013) and Tasos Trifonos. Each artist will perform 2 songs each – one past Eurovision entry which is performed in the Eurobox and one original song which is performed to the jury.

Once each original song has been performed, the jury panel will then decide whether the act should proceed to the next stage of the contest – Eurochallenge. Each auditioning act requires a minimum of three “Yes” votes to qualify to the next stage. You can read more about the Eurovision Song Project format here.
