The 2012 Maltese representative, Kurt Calleja, has released the long awaited music video for his summer single Vertigo.

The video was shot in various parts of Malta showing the beautiful landscapes and sunshine of the island.

The month of July was full of music video releases from past Maltese Eurovision stars including:

  • Gianluca BezzinaPicture (Malta 2013)
  • Claudia Faniello One Fine Day (MESC 2006-2013)
  • JessikaHypnotica (MESC 2011-2014)
  • Ira LoscoShouldn’t Have to Bother (Malta 2002)

Kurt ends the month of music video releases in Malta with Vertigo which is one of the singles from Kurt’s latest album Love on Mars which was released last Summer.

Vertigo is written by Tim Laws, Steve Lee and Chris Madin. Kurt’s girlfriend in the video is Joanne Galea (Miss World Malta 2014). The video was directed by Angie and Duane Laus from WE Media also responsible for the music videos of Gianluca and Firelight in the Eurovision.

This is what Kurt had to say:
“Hey guys, wow I can’t believe it has been over 2 years since we performed at the Eurovision Song Contest. We do plan to return one day but until I do I would like to ask you for a small favour; keep sharing our music even after Eurovision, it means so much to us what we do and your constant support is why we do it. Without it, it would be futile. Lots and lots of love to you all and never ever give up on your hopes and dreams because THAT is the real day you stop living.
