One of the last videos of this year's Eurovision Song Contest participants has been released less than two weeks before the semi final. Verka Serduchka's video clip for the Ukrainian entry Dancing Lasha Tumbai is here and it is bound to be discussed- again!

In the video clip, Verka takes her mother to a night club where they are both very naughty. After leaving the club in the early hours, and as mother and daughter walk home, Verka's mother poses the question that has caused so much discussion amongst fans, press and officials alike:

Verka's mom: "Listen, as your mom I should know, tell me: had you sung in the song- : "Russia goodbye" or "Lasha Tumbai"?
Verka: "Mom, do you know what"?
Verka's mom: "What"?
Verka: "Go ahead"! (Well, here what we think she means is "keep walking")

Click here to watch the video and figure it out for yourself. In case you cannot, you can be sure the esctoday.com team will be asking Verka for you when we meet up with her in Helsinki next week.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
