This marks the first platinum sales level for the song. The Swedish record industry includes sales of cd´s and official downloads to computers and mobile phones.

The song won the swedish national final on 10th March topping both the televote and jury. The worrying kind hit number one on the charts in sweden that week and reached gold status (10 000 copies) only three weeks later, before being declared platinum today – just a week before the short journey from Sweden to helsinki.

The Ark will represent Sweden in the final of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest after Carola finished in 5th place in Athens to give Sweden an automatic place in this year's final.
