For the first time, three different people will be appearing as spokespersons at the Eurovision Song Contest when Andreas, Lina and Therese presents the Swedish votes this Saturday.
Alcazar may have not won the ticket to Copenhagen, but that won’t stopped them from taking part in this year’s edition of the contest as Swedish broadcaster SVT have selected the dance trio to present the Swedish votes during the Grand Final.
It feels fantastic fun! We are really happy about it and we said of course yes when we got the request, says Lina Hedlund. Get the chance to wave hello and send some extra love to all the fans in Europe, who could not vote for us in the Melodifestivalen.
Maria Ilstedt, Melodifestivalen project manager, said he is very pleased that Alcazar has accepted the invitation as they are well known among Eurovision fans, and fans will love to see them taking part in the show.
Many other broadcaster have announced their spokespersons and there’s several familiar faces amongst them:
- Belarus: Alyona Lanskaya (2013 Bielorussian representative)
- Georgia: Sophia Gelovani & Nodi Tatishvili (2013 Georgian representatives)
- San Marino: Michele Perniola (2013 Sammarinese representatives in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest)
- Ukraine: Zlata Ognevich (2013 Ukrainian representative)
