The Swedish based Spectra- Stage & Event Technologies firm, who is in charge of constructing the stage and lights equipment of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki has launched its Eurovisiondiary.

Spectra was also in charge of constructing the stages of all Eurovision Song Contests since 2000 and on, with the exceptions of 2001 and 2006. Although their stages sometimes attracted criticismfor being too dark or too similar to one another, Spectra seems to be the most experienced Eurovision stage constructors around. This must be the reason why they were chosen by YLE and EBU to be involved with the Eurovision Song Contest once again.

Spectra has growm a custom in recent years to let fans follow the stage construction processthrough an online visual diary, straight from the contest's venue. 2007 is no exception- The 2007 Eurovisiondiary was, in fact, launched several weeks ago, but only today Spectra's crew moved into the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, where the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in less than a month. From today on, you will be able to watch the process of the stage construction inside the arena. This diary might shed some light on how the stage will look like, an issue YLE has been quite reluctant to share information about.

You may access the 2007 Eurovisiondiary at www.eurovisiondiary.com. In order to enter the diary a free registration is needed.
