BBC, the UK’s national broadcaster of the Eurovision Song Contest, is looking for Eurovision fans to take part in this year’s UK Eurovision postcard.

The postcard shoot will take place on Saturday 12 April at a location in West London. Fans who would like to take part in the shoot can email the BBC at [email protected] where successful applicants will receive a confirmation email later on today which will include the appropriate details.

Applicants must be at least 12 years old to take part in the postcard shoot (12-year-old applicants must be accompanied by an adult).

This year’s Eurovision postcards will focus on each of the artist’s home countries where they will film the artist in a city of their choice. The end of the postcard will include the artists creating an image of their country’s flag using their own hands.

Molly Smitten-Downes was internally selected to represent the United Kingdom at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with her song Children of the universe. The United Kingdom is a member of the Big 5 and will therefore automatically qualify to the grand final which will take place on the 10 May.
