Valentina Monetta (born 1 March 1975), is no stranger to the Eurovision stage, having previously competed for San Marino on the big stage in 2012 and 2013. In both cases, she failed to reach the final, narrowly missing out on her chance to reach the Grand Final last year with her song Crisalide (Vola), which had been a fan favourite leading up to the contest.

Back home in San Marino, Valentina is an active performer, participating in a number of musicals and events. She has two released albums, with a third on the way which will include her 2014 entry Maybe (Forse). Valentina will take the stage for San Marino for a third time on the 6 May in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen.
