Germany: Emmelie de Forest to perform at USFD

Emmelie de Forest, who represented Denmark and won at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, has confirmed that she will be appearing at the German national final Unser Song für Dänemark.

At the German national final, Emmelie de Forest will perform the official Eurovision 2014 anthem Rainmaker. At the final of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Emmelie de Forest along with all of the 26 Eurovision finalists will perform the anthem at the start of the show. It is important that you stand together and help each other states the reigning Eurovision champion. Rainmaker

Last year, Emmelie de Forest was selected to represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö with her song Only teardrops. Emmelie was one of the clear favourites amongst the Eurovision fanbase before the contest. At the contest, Emmelie qualified to the grand final where she ended up winning the contest with a total of 281 points.
