Tonight: Melodifestivalen semi-final 4

Tonight, the Swedish national broadcaster SVT heads to Örnsköldsvik for the fourth and final semi-final in the annual competition of Melodifestivalen. Melodifestivalen’s  fourth  semi-final  will be held at the the  Linköping Cloetta Centre . The show will begin at 20:00 CET.

The show

This is the fourth heat of the competition. Eight artists will perform one song each, and the Swedish public will vote and decide which two songs will go direct to the final and which two will get another chance in the Andra Chansen round. Four songs will be eliminated.

The show will be aired live on SVT1 as well as on SVT Europa via satellite at 20:00 CET. For the international viewers, a webstream will be made available on the Melodifestivalen website.

The Swedish selection consists of 6 rounds.  After all semi-finals have taken place, the 3rd and 4th placed acts from each semi-final will compete in the Andra Chansen (second chance) round  and the top 2 placed acts from Andra Chansen as voted by the Swedish public will proceed to the final .

The final will be held on March 8 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, where a total of 10 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Copenhagen 2014.
