Greece most likely in for 2003

Mihalis Rakintzis feels much better now, since Greece is likely to participate in next year's contest.

While shooting the video for his new single, called “Paei Paei”, Rakintzis confided to a journalist from Alter TV channel his big relief upon hearing that Greece stands a good chance of entering next year's contest, to be held in Riga.

The singer, who finished in 17th position in Tallinn, seemed very upset immediately after the contest. He looked very uncomfortable in press conferences and sounded really sad about his poor scoring.

Now that it looks as if Greece are participating in Riga, Rakintzis can at least have the comfort of not feeling responsible for the country's disqualification to enter ESC 2003. (God knows it was close, Mihalis!)

Mihalis also hoped that next year's Greek entry has better luck than he did in Tallinn.
