TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster will be airing a live casting show and the second stage of its 2014 Eurovision national selection. The show will be aired on TRM at 11:00 CET.
A total of 61 entries will be presented live infront of the jury throughtout the day, after a decision taken by the TRM board after 3 complaints from the artists who were shortlisted from the internal phase. TRM first announced that the number of entries would be shortlisted to 40 after the internal hearing session, as it was, but after this decision all 61 entries will be performed LIVE.

During the live auditions the special jury will select a total of 24 acts which will compete in the semi-finals (12 acts will compete in each semi-final). From each semifinal eight competitors will make it to the final, 7 acts will be selected via a public vote /jury deliberation whilst the 8th will be rescued by the public via televoting.
Aliona Moon represented Moldova at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with O Mie, achieving a 11th place in the final.
Moldova debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 and is yet to win the event. The country’s best placing at Europe’s favourite television show was in 2005 when Zdob şi Zdub achieved a 6th placing in the Eurovision Song Contest final in Kiev.
