Earlier this week, PBS, the Maltese national broadcaster, revealed the 2 international guests that are set to perform at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) 2014. Now, the local guests that will take the stage are revealed.

We already know that Maria Yaremchuk, the Ukrainian representative will perform in the Maltese semi final on Friday 7 February and the winner from the Swiss national final set for this Saturday will perform on the final night on Saturday 8 February. Apart from the international guests, 5 local artists will perform during the course of the 2 nights. These are:

• Matthew James Borg & Peter Borg – From the popular Maltese band Red Electrick   (Friday, 7 February)
• The Crowns – Pop/alternative rock band   (Friday, 7 February)
• Special performance from Gaia Cauchi – Winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013   (Saturday, 8 February; Opening Act)
• Hot & Famous + Unique by Ġorġ u Pawlu – Local comic duo   (Saturday, 8 February)
• Debuting their latest single Everlasting are Winter Moods – One of the biggest Maltese bands

The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 Semi Final will take place on Friday 7 February with the Final on Saturday 8 February at MFCC Ta’ Qali.
