The 2013 Swedish contributing presenter (in the guise of Lynda Woodruff) and performer at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö this year has been selected to co host SVT television and radio’s Music Aid 2013.

Sarah Dawn Finer has participated at Melodifestivalen in 2007 and 2009. She also co-hosted the event in 2012, the year of Loreen’s historic victory at the Swedish national finals.

It was in 2012 that Dawn Finer introduced us to her alter ego Lynda Woodruff whose comedic presentation and reporting of the Eurovision Song Contest in between intervals at Melodifestivalen 2012 would go on to become part of the actual contest when it went to Malmo in 2013. Sarah was also a contributing performer in the interval of the 2013 contest where she sung a cover of The winner takes it all by ABBA.
Last summer, esctoday got the chance to speak with Sarah Dawn Finer. You may read her interview here.

Sarah Dawn Finer will now co present SVT’s Musikhjalpen 2013 (or loosely translated as Music Aid 2013). She is quoted as saying of her participation in this charitable telethon to SVT It is probably impossible to prepare for what will happen. It’s a bit like being at camp, sleeping next to nothing and are never alone. It will be a great challenge for me, but it’ll also be very cool.

Dawn Finer also believes that presenting Music Aid 2013 for SVT will be very different to anything she has done before in her career

Sarah Dawn Finer will also be taking on the legendary role of Sally Bowles in the upcoming Swedish presentation of the musical Cabaret in the spring of 2014 at the Uppsala City Theatre. You can purchase tickets here
