Tickets for Helsinki announced

YLE announced the details for the sale of the tickets for the Eurovision Semi and Final. The sale will start on Sunday 10th December 2006 at 11.00 AM CET, through Lippupalvelu (Ticket Service Finland) who will be responsible for domestic and international ticket sales.Two days later on 12th December, fans will also be able to purchase their tickets through electronically, the site will be announced shortly.

The telephone number for international ticket sales is + 358 600 10909. Telephone sales begin on10th December. Remaining tickets will go on sale via the internet on 12th December.

Who gets what
One third of the tickets will be sold internationally, one third of that will go directly to International Fan Clubs. Half of the overall amount of tickets will be sold in packages of four (called Category One Tickets) and the rest as individual tickets (Category Two Tickets). In an effort to stop scalpers there will be a limit of five individual tickets per person.

What is available
Tickets will be available for the following events:

  • Final (12th May)
  • Semi Final (10th May)
  • Dress Rehearsals

Category One Tickets

Sold in packages ONLY

The Final package:

The Final package contains four category one tickets to four different events. These events are the Semi-Final's Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday at 2 PM, the Semi-Final's Dress Rehearsal on Thursday at 2 PM, the Final's Dress Rehearsal on Friday at 9 PM and the Final on Saturday at 10 PM. The Final package contains tickets to events 1, 3, 6, and 8 (see below) and it will cost 390 euros.

The Semi-Final package:

The Semi-Final package contains four category one tickets to four different events. These events are the Semi-Final's Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday at 9 PM, the Semi-Final on Thursday at 10 PM, the Final's Dress Rehearsal on Friday at 2 PM and the Final's Dress Rehearsal on Saturday at 2 PM. The Semi-Final package contains tickets to event 2, 4, 5 and 7 (see below) and will cost 290 euros.

Category two tickets will be sold individually

The prices of category two tickets vary by event.

The prices are the following:

  • Event 1 Semi-Final 1st Dress Rehearsal, Wednesday, May 9 at 2 PM 10 €
  • Event 2 Semi-Final 2nd Dress Rehearsal, Wednesday, May 9 at 9 PM 20 €
  • Event 3 Semi-Final 3 rd Dress Rehearsal, Thursday, May 10 at 2 PM 20 €
  • Event 4 Semi-Final, Thursday, May 10 at 10 PM 90 €
  • Event 5 Final 1st Dress Rehearsal, Friday, May 11 at 2 PM 50 €
  • Event 6 Final 2nd Dress Rehearsal, Friday, May 11 at 9 PM 70 €
  • Event 7 Final 3rd Dress Rehearsal, Saturday, May 12 at 2 PM 70 €
  • Event 8 Final, Saturday, May 12 at 10 PM 195 €

The Eurovision atmosphere can also be experienced from seats with a restricted view of the stage. The prices of these tickets vary from five euros (Semi-Final 1st Dress Rehearsal) to 95 euros (Final) per seat.
