Kaliopi, the representative for the FYR Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, has released her sixth album, titled Melem.

In anticipation of her soon to be announced Balkan winter tour to accompany the album Melem, Kaliopi has revealed details of a competition with spectacular prizes for her fans, including flights, accommodation and VIP backstage tickets to one of her concerts this winter.  One lucky winner will win the chance to spend the weekend with Kaliopi at one of her concerts, and the runners-up will win signed copies of her new album.

In order to enter, fans should participate in the Kaliopi Fan Festival currently taking place on Facebook.  Fans are asked to vote for their favourite song from Melem.  Karaoke versions of the tracks will later be uploaded to Kaliopi’s official YouTube channel. Participants will then be asked to sing their own version using the karaoke tracks, and then upload their video to the Kaliopi Fan Festival.  The best videos will then be selected and uploaded onto YouTube, where fans will be able to vote for their favourite.  Further details can be found on Kaliopi’s Facebook page here.
