The 2011 Italian Eurovision representative Raphael Gualazzi will be flying to Madrid next month to perform at the Dia De La Musica Festival in Madrid on 22 June.
This special festival will be held at the Matadero Madrid on 21- 22 June. Many other Jazz singers will be taking part in the festival. Raphael Gualazzi has competed at the Sanremo Song Festival twice, in 2011 in the New Singers category and in 2013 in the Established Singers Catetory. He won the 2013 New Singers Category and was selected to represent Italy at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf, thus marking Italy’s return to contest after an absence of 13 years.
Raphael mesmerised Europe with his Eurovision entry Madness of love, and achieved an honourable 2nd placing at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. Ever since his Eurovision debut, the Italian artist has been busy with back to back schedule touring France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Germany. The Italian artist will be travelling to Switzerland and France at the end of next month, where a series of concerts are scheduled.
