Familiar faces from the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 are amongst the pan-European line-up for the 2006 edition of the popular web music contest, Eurodance.

Polina Smolova, Belarusian entry at the 2006 semifinal, competes with the song Biser, whilst Fabrizio Faniello hopes for better than his last place in the 2006 Eurovision final, this time with the song On the radio. Meanwhile, the second-placed act in the 2006 Romanian selection, Akcent, are present with their popular entry from that national final, Jokero.

Eurodance and Eurovision
Eurodance is a yearly competition created in 2001 with the aim of promoting European and Mediterranean dance productions in local languages, or with strong links to national culture. 2006 is by no means the first year that Eurovision stars have been represented; a year before her victory at the Kyiv contest for Greece, Elena Paparizou was in the Eurodance lineup for 2004 with Trelli kardia. In 2005, Natalya Podolskaya, who sang at the Eurovision Song Contest for Russia that same year, appeared on the list with a song for her native Belarus.
