Tow gold records were presented to Texas Lightning today in Athens. The German representatives received them for their album Meanwhile, back at the ranch as well as for their Eurovision Song Contest entry No no never after their performance in the German embassy.

The gold satus meansthat more than 100,000 albums and 250,000 singles were sold in Germany. The German entry reached the top of the German single charts and is currently on 4th position of the most sold singles in 2006. German head of delegation, Jan Schulte-Kellinghaus told to eurovision.de: They really deserved this and I am happy for them that they were awarded the gold records. That shows that we present a real chart breaker in the contest.

Texas LIghtning will represent Germany in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday with their song No no never.
