UK: 5 entries in 2006 selection

The British broadcaster BBC sticks to Making your mind up to select its Eurovision Song Contest participant in 2006. Five entries take place, four of them will be selected internally. One song will be chosen out of an open selection.

Songs for the UK national selection for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest can be submitted until 31st December and should reside in the United Kingdom. One song per writer/composer can be submitted.

In Kyiv, Javine came 22nd with only 18 points. As the United Kingdom is one of the 'Big-4' countries, a place in the final is guarantueed.
