United Kingdom: A Welsh postcard for Bonnie Tyler

Bonnie Tyler, one of this year’s biggest names in the competition, met the Sveriges Television team in charge of filming the postcards and last Friday shot her presentation clip on the beautiful shores of Wales.

The SVT chose Langland Bay, a popular holiday destination and one of the best surfing beaches in Britain at the south of Wales, as the scenery for the shooting. In May, Mrs. Tyler will be seen walking by the beach, singing in a balcony and performing along a pianist on a beautiful mansion during her postcard.

In an interview to  Wales Online, Bonnie admitted that despite of carrying the representation of the BBC and her country on her shoulders, she feels good on singing in front of millions in Malmö. When I performed at the Grammys, I sang in front of some huge superstars, all sitting in the front row, she says about her Grammys performance in 1984. Michael Jackson was there, that was really nerve-wracking, she adds.

.

About her chances of giving the United Kingdom its sixth victory, she said: You never know what will happen. Voting can be quite political, but we’ve got a really good song. She also has received advice and words of encouragement from Katrina Leskanich, of Katrina and the Waves, Nicky Stevens of Brotherhood of Man and Graham Norton.

Bonnie is currently working on her stage performance for Malmö where she’s planning to be as natural as she can and do her best.

There will be a questions and answers session on Twitter with Bonnie Tyler on Monday 8 April at 16.00 CET (15.00 GMT). Tweet your questions to @BonnieTOfficial with the hashtag #askBonnie.
