Cezar the 2013 Romanian representative performed the theme song of Romeo and Juliet recently.

Cezar had a concert in Ploiesti (his native town), Romania, last week. We bring you  a short movie where you can see Cezar performing and singing  the theme song of Romeo and Juliet, the first in a series of video recordings where you can see another face of the artist.  Let’s discover Cezar – the man, part of an audience, speaks about Cezar – the artist on the stage.

Cezar will represent Romania at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with the song It’s my life. The Romanian singer  won the 2013 Romanian Eurovision national final earlier this month. Currently Cezar is busy preparing for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. The 2013 Romanian entry has been composed and written by Cristian Faur.

Romania debuted at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest with Dat Bitman and is yet to win the event. The country’s best placing at the Eurovision Song Contest was in 2005 with Luminita Anghel  and in 2010 with Paula Seling and Ovi, when Romania placed 3rd.
