San Marino: Discover the new Valentina

On Friday 15 March  we will discover a brand new Valentina Monetta who has been totally transformed with a new look  and image ,which  will play a key in her forthcoming Eurovision participation.

As the title of the 2013 Sammarinese entry Crisalide refers to a butterfly, the Sammerinese artist has gone through a metamorphosis and will be appearing on stage in Malmo with a brand new look and approach showcasing the essence of her talent and skills.

 

There is a lot of anticipatation regarding the 2013 Sammarinese entry regarding both the genre and language: Will it be different to last year’s Sammarinese entry? Will it be a dance number? A ballad? A rock ballad? A disco number? A midtempo? An uptempo entry? Will Valentina sing her song in English or Italian? All these and many more questions will be answered on Friday at 20:25 CET when we discover the 2013 Sammarinese entry!

The show will be aired on SMRTV, San Marino at 20:25 CET on SMRTV San Marino (terrestrial and via satellite Hotbird). Mr.Alessandro Capicchioni, Head of San Marino Delegation at the Eurovision Song Contest, will be hosting the show. ValentinaMonetta will be be sharing her thoughts and feelings about her forthcoming Eurovision participation during the show. Several special guests have been invited to attend the show: Fabrizio Raggi (art director), Roberto Moretti (TV committee member for the song selection), Eddy Anselmi and Emanuele Lombardini (journalists). Whilst  Ralph Siegel (composer of Crisalide) , Mauro  Balestri (lyricist of  Crisalide), Sanjay Jiandani (Head of Press for esctoday.com),  Eva Arnardottir (the number 1 Sammarinese fan from Iceland) will grace the occasion via Skype.

Crisalide has been composed by none other than Mr. Ralph Siegel who has competed at the Eurovision Song Contest with many songs. This will be his 21st contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest and 2nd consecutive entry for San Marino. Mauro Balestri has written the lyrics of the 2013 Sammarinese entry.
