To date, Jørgen and Niels 'Noller' Olsen have been performing together for no less than 40 years. The Olsen Brothers will be celebrating this jubilee in Virum on 27th August. In October the Olsen Brothers will be taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest's 50th anniversary show.

The Olsen Brothers, or Brødrene Olsen as they are known in Denmark, will be celebrating 40 years of career with a grand event taking place at the Virumhallen in Virum (Denmark) on 27th August. The concertgoers will be served a three course Italian menu accompanied by live music, followed by the Olsen Brothers' jubilee concert and an afterparty.

The Olsen Brothers have participated six times in the Danish national Eurovision Song Contest selections. Jørgen Olsen also participated twice as a solo performer. In 2000, the Olsen Brothers won the Danish national final with Smuk som et stjerneskud and went on to represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm where they convinced the European viewers with the song's English version, Fly on the wings of love.

With Fly on the wings of love, the Olsen Brothers have been selected to take part in the special contest among 14 songs, to be organised during the Eurovision Song Contest's 50th anniversary show. Congratulations takes place on 22nd October in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
